Overview
Codex is a GraphQL API for enriched blockchain and prediction market data, built and maintained by Defined.fi. For tokens, it delivers real-time pricing, charts, holders, balances, and aggregated analytics covering more than 80 million tokens and 700 million wallets across over 80 networks, spanning EVM chains and Solana. Data arrives with sub-second freshness and includes historical USD pricing, with WebSocket and webhook subscriptions for live updates.
Codex also exposes prediction market data across Polymarket and Kalshi through a single schema. This covers events, markets, traders, holdings, live order books, and trade feeds, along with time-windowed stats and ranking signals such as volume, liquidity, open interest, trade count, and unique traders at windows from 5 minutes through 1 week, metrics the venue APIs do not expose natively.
Most teams query Codex directly over GraphQL, with an optional TypeScript SDK, and there is an MCP server for reading the documentation. Codex offers a free tier of 10,000 requests per month, usage-based Growth pricing, and Enterprise plans.
