To preserve NFT metadata and media, Nifty Gateway plans to migrate hosting to a decentralized storage solution on Arweave. NFTs created in 2021 or earlier with metadata linked to Nifty Gateway servers will continue to have their metadata hosted indefinitely.
The shutdown process includes a bulk withdrawal tool to assist users with multiple NFTs. After the deadline, Nifty Gateway will continue to support users in moving their NFTs to wallets of their choice. This closure marks the end of Nifty Gateway as an active marketplace, reflecting the evolving NFT ecosystem and the shift toward decentralized hosting and custody solutions.
